Noah’s Ark

Sunday mornings During the 9.30am service a range of planned programs and activities are available for all children.

Baby Zone – a dedicated space in the Church foyer for parents/carers to supervise their own little ones whilst also being able to listen to the service.

Bear Cubs (Creche) – for children approx. 15 months to 4 years old. These young children meet in the dedicated Early Childhood room and are cared for by volunteers. A range of toys and activities, both indoors and outdoors, are available for free play.

Giraffes - Kindy, Pre-Primary and Year 1. This group meets in one of the demountable classrooms and participate in an interactive Bible-based program. Songs, stories, craft, games and a range of activities are all aimed at teaching children about God’s love for them and of Jesus Christ as Saviour.

Little Leopards & Big Cats – Years 2 - 6. These children meet in the Church Hall and follow Bible based programs designed for their different age groups. The Primary aged children are supported and encouraged to grow in their personal knowledge of God and towards a sound understanding of Jesus as their personal saviour.

Noah’s Ark is staffed by dedicated volunteers from the Church, many of whom have experience in working with children. All programs and volunteers are overseen by the two Directors of Children’s Ministries: Jenni van der Moezel (Primary) and Janet Judd (Early Childhood). Further information on staffing is available under the ‘Staff’ tab on this website.

Mid-Week Activities - Early Childhood Playgroup

Playgroup runs every Thursday morning from 9.30 – 11.30 am during school terms for children 0 – 4 years old. We meet in the dedicated Early Childhood room, which is well equipped with a range of toys, including a fully-secure outdoor play area.

Parents and/or grandparents are very welcome to come along and share some relaxed time socialising, whilst also supporting their child/ren to play and interact with others. Playgroup is mostly unstructured, enabling the young children to move between play spaces and choose their own preferred play opportunities. Art and craft activities are available for those children who are interested and we also enjoy a lively music time during the morning.

The morning does include a dedicated Morning Tea time and all families attending are asked to provide fruit for the children to share. Tea and coffee are always available for adults. In the interest of child safety Playgroup is a nut-free zone. Fees are kept very reasonable and are paid per term.

Accommodations can be made if fees prove challenging for families. For more information about Playgroup please contact:
